Dennis Neumann, Recreation director
Dennis Neumann is a lifelong member of Immanuel Lutheran in Alpena, MI
This trip to Sloka is
Dennis’ 8th mission trip: 5th to Latvia – all language camps one with St John’s
church in Riga, once to Poland – ESL, Peru, and Nicaragua were medical/eye
glass missions.
Dennis has been a lifelong member
- 73 years- at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Alpena, MI. He is very involved with
Christian education, church finance, and call committees. Dennis and Bev are also involved with CELF
financing of church building projects.
Dennis is retired from
a company that manufactured machinery for making cement blocks and also manufactured
the actual blocks themselves. He was
involved in the engineering aspect of the company.
Dennis has worked with
the games and recreation a for all his years coming to Sloka with St Luke's Mission Teams.

Dennis' granddaughter is also a team member.
Dennis’ most unusual
activity was eating guinea pig on a Mission trip to Peru.
